Applications - current status : open!

If you are interested in joining the Finale Linkshell, you are more than welcome to post an application.
Of course, before applying, you must meet certain criteria.
Please remember, that Finale is a EU based linkshell, so most scheduled events will take place around 19GMT. However, we do accept people from any timezone, as long as they are able to attend our events.
Finale will always try to go for certain NM's whenever they have the manpower to do so, even before or after EU prime time.

If you despise camping HNM's, avoid showing up for certain events, or your only goal is achieving personal gain, then I'm sorry to say that Finale will not be the linkshell you're looking for.
We are looking for motivated people, who try to do as much for the linkshell as they possibly can. Cross-server applications are allowed too.

If your application is accepted, you will be invited as a trial member to Finale. Your trial will end whenever the linkshell leaders decide so.
During this period, it is up to you to attend as much as possible, so you can show us what you're made of.

 

What are we currently looking for?

Jobs listed as "High Priority" are highly sought-after by Finale, whereas "Low Priority" jobs aren't likely to be invited to join Finale.
However people with multiple jobs at 75, even with more than one "Low Priority" jobs will always have a serious advantage compared to people with only one job at 75.

The priorities list is just for indication, you can always apply with whichever jobs are available to you.
If you don't have any of the jobs on the following list, don't let that stop you from applying.
People with multiple jobs at 75, and with multiple characters available to them, are a big plus.
Not looking for regular melee without exceptional gear/merits, unless in combination with one of our sought-after jobs.
Exceptionally geared melee are welcome to apply, of course.

High Priority:
WHM (with /SCH - career WHM, must be willing to come WHM to 99% of events, "I only cure my party"-WHM's need not apply)

Medium Priority:
COR (/WHM /RNG - well merited, well geared)
SCH (well-geared, merited, preferably Einherjar experience)
BLM (career BLM with notable gear and merits, with extra jobs at 75)
PLD (must be able to attend afternoon-GMT hours)
BRD (can't have enough BRD's, can you?)

Low Priority:
Others


 

How to apply?

* First of all, create an account on this very website using your FFXI name as your login.
* A button "Contact a Finale Leader" should appear. Fill out the form using the information below :
OR, go to our Forums, and post an application in the Application Section.

You must also have access to Ru'Aun Gardens, Tu'Lia and Dynamis-Xarcabard. You must also be willing to join-in Finale's Dynamis events and while joining Limbus is not mandatory, joining will still be considered as a BIG plus.
When applying, please make a thread in this forum containing at least the following information (remember, first impression counts for a lot!) :

*Character's Name
*Character's Race
*Time zone and play time (post in GMT!)
*CoP / ToAU / RoZ / WoTG (/ ACP) statuses
*Primary jobs and levels
*Support jobs and levels
*Which job(s) would you rather play in Finale?
*What do you consider to be your best equipped/merited job?
*Why do you still play FFXI? What is your goal in this game, and with Finale?
*If you could create a wishlist, with one item for each slot, what would it look like?
*Why Finale? How did you hear about us?
*Do you have references in Finale? If any, who? Reference from any other known player/linkshell outside Finale?
*Previous Linkshell(s)/Server(s) and why you left
*Merits : please go into detail, or link to your (updated) ffxiah account

* Other notes:
- include in this section things which you think will appeal to us, such as:

a) Exceptional gear (equipment you are proud of/relics/rare drops/..)
b) Crafts at 90+
c) Finale will be your only Linkshell for all events except Salvage.
Your Salvage runs cannot interfere with our scheduled events, and preferably not with HNM camping.
Finale has a set day (Tuesday) where you can schedule your Salvage runs freely. Be aware those runs could be canceled, after all, because of HNM.
We do not tolerate having another limbus/dynamis/...-linkshell.
d) We expect you to wear the Finale pearl for 99% of the time when you're online
e) Any other mules/secondary accounts you may provide
f) Anything else you might want to include

Once you have posted your application, we will review it and then reply to you online. If favourable, you will be invited to participate in Finale events on a try-out basis. During this time, you will not be able to lot unless an item would otherwise be lost. After a couple of weeks, we will either tell you that things just aren't working out, or hopefully that you have been accepted as a fully fledged linkshell member.
